How to get there
University College London, Gower Street, London WC1E 6BT, https://www.ucl.ac.uk/
By Car
We highly discourage car travel to central London. UCL is inside the congestion charge zone. Also, from April 2019 the ULEZ will be in place 24/7, and most vechicles will be subject to an additional fee, in addition to the congestion charge. Informations are: https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/ultra-low-emission-zone. Both charges may be avoided by parking north of Euston station, outside the Congestion charge and ULEZ zone. You may find private parking near the meeting venue using internet, please contact us in case we can assist with some searches. |
By Train
There is no shortage of ways to get into London by train. It is recommended that you travel to Euston Station (West Coast Mainline) if that is possible, for ease of getting to and from the venue. Kings X Station (East Coast Mainline) is also close by on Euston Road. For further information and journey planning, please visit the National Rail Enquiries website, trainline.com or call 08457 48 49 50. |
By Bus
National Express coaches operate services all over the UK. Megabus.com offer low-cost intercity travel to London from a number of places in the UK. They also offer a frequent direct service into London. |
Places to eat
The meeting location is in Central London, so there is plenty of choices for lunch/dinner. We work hard in the spirit to be capable to run the meeting without to ask a registration fee. In this spirit, the meeting will provide coffee breaks and refreshments, but not catering for lunch. We suggest the participants to have lunch at the several cafe's and eateries nearby in Tottenham Court Road and/or near Euston Station. As for dinner, many restaurants nearby are near Charlotte Street and, of course, toward Covent Garden.
